Warrior Woman

The goddess glanced at the dragon,
and said, beast, you don’t stand a chance.
I’ve explosive jelly,
nitro in my belly,
I’ve slayed meaner creeps with a glance.

Go fly away monster, be gone!
I shall throw daggers, that stagger.
I am a fair omen,
a warrior woman.
My hands reduce dragon swagger.

I’ve banished vile beasts to beyond.
I am a goddess, battle-worn.
I’ve killed bugs under beds,
that haunt small fevered heads.
I am a princess, nobly born.

I juggle career and my home.
I am a warrior woman.
Retreat to your dank lair.
I’ll beat you, (with great hair),
because, my mom, taught me this poem.
